I decided to learn as much as I could about the brain following my suicide attempt

This was, and still is a difficult task for me being dyslexic and given my limited education and vocabulary skills. I still have vivid memories of crying myself to sleep on many occasions after spending hours reading and trying to soak up information about the workings of my brain and trying to comprehend my crazy thought patterns.


I needed questions answered, questions like;

  • Why do I not feel anything?

  • Why do I want to cry for no reason?

  • Why do I feel like ending my life?

From years of diligent study I now have a broader understanding of how the mind, body and brain work, and I am very happy to be sharing this knowledge with you in a simplistic easy to understand way, a way in which I wish I was taught. When you read my first book “Become a Mind Ninja” you will be guided into the depth of your spectacular mind where you will discover tangible tools that you can implement today to help you rise above self-defeating habits, programs and limiting beliefs from the past.


The purpose of writing Become a Mind Ninja and creating the Mind Ninja Academy is to help unique individuals become mentally, physically and spiritually fit so they can adapt to any situation. This is achieved with unique mental mind reaction training.


Adapt: become adjusted to new conditions.


Training: the action of teaching a person a particular skill or type of behaviour.

When you have a negative feeling take a moment and ask yourself … “Why am I reacting like this, and is it serving me well?”


Reaction: something done, felt, or thought in response to a situation or event.

Visualisation was a word and mind tool that kept popping up in the reading material I was consuming on many occasions as I searched for answers to validate my emotions, so I studied various visualisation techniques.


Visualise; form a mental picture of, make (something) visible to the eye.

My goal was to appoint a competent commander to safe guard my mind and protect my overall mental health and well-being.


Competent: having the necessary ability, knowledge, or skill to do something successfully.


Commander: authority figure, especially over troops of monkeys.


I personally thought this was a big ask, only to find out what I know now is that if you don’t ask big, you don’t receive big.

To find true and lasting happiness you must go within. It is not until you sit quietly with yourself, accept, and embrace yourself for the Warrior that you are, will you begin to understand that your happiness does not rely on external substances or circumstances.

Happiness is achieved with a change of attitude. A negative attitude can never bring you happiness. An attitude of gratitude is what is needed to ignite your mind and heart with happiness.


That is so important; I am going to repeat it. An attitude of gratitude is what is needed to ignite your mind with happiness. The more you are grateful for, the more things to be grateful for will show up in your life.


With a happy heart, your vision is more likely to show up on your inner V screen as a beautiful desire.


DESIRE is a mental image of the life you wish for produced on your V screen. Desire is a great acronym meaning; a destination engaging synchronicity, imagination, retrospect and emotion.

  • Destination: A point of contact. Make sure you truly know what you are aiming at. What is your target? Ask yourself questions like: What is my target/vision/goal? Who do I want to be? Where do I want to be? What do I want? Only after answering these questions is your desire obtained. Without a target, what are you aiming for?


  • Engage: Stepping into a new arena as a Warrior can be daunting. You may need to face old demons or reflect on some of the choices you have made in the past. Feelings may arise making you feel anxious, depressed or fearful. But regardless of these feelings you must engage your warrior, soldier on, and move into a solid steady position, and prepare for battle. Understand, you may give in, or lose a battle here and there, but these are just tactical strategies. Your ultimate victory is to win the war. Always stay engaged.


  • Synchronicity: Trust your Warrior and its weapons. Your adversaries will be doubt, fear and confusion, which will cloud your mind with negativity. If you feel this fog of fear come over you, pull your shoulders back, and lift your head. Breathe deep and let go of control, and trust your desired trajectory. With practice you will soon become aware of, and notice like-minded Warriors with specialised knowledge showing up in your life to help you in one way or another. Synchronicity is a Warrior skill you must master by being present in every moment.


  • Imagination: Stretch, stretch, stretch. Like your other muscles, the more you stretch your imagination the more flexible and open you will be to new opportunities and ideas that will help guide you to toward your target. Your imagination is your most powerful weapon. Discovering how to master it to its full potential is a lifelong practice. Stretch your imagination every day and become a Formidable Flexible Warrior.


  • Retrospect: Release your grip on the baggage you are carrying from your past. You can't hold your Warrior weapons true and steady if you are still trying to hold onto past baggage as well. Let go of your past, and keep laser-like focus on your target. Never live in your past, but learn from your past.


  • Emotion: Emotion is the spark that ignites the gunpowder. Emotions are the intense feelings that turn your desire into a burning desire. Nothing is more powerful than a weapon that has been loaded and fired with a burning desire. A desire that sits on your catapult/in your vision that is not burning, is rarely acted on, this is known as procrastination. The best way I feel I can explain procrastination, is to have you imagine all your ego monkeys holding down your desire, and not letting your catapult release it. This is a very hard feat to do, even for your ego monkeys, if your desire is burning. So when you unlock your VTV screen and stretch your imagination to its limits, use all your senses, see, feel, hear, taste and touch your desire/vision/target, then add fuel to it. The fuel you use; will be the intense feelings you attach to your desire. Imagine with your mind’s eye intense positive feelings you have of your target as though it has already been hit. It is these emotions that will become the spark that ignites the gunpowder of intention.

You need to understand that a vision/target is not a dream or a fantasy. Many people have a dream and many people have fantasies; but very few have a vision/target.


To become a mental visionary master, you must focus on future expectations and fuel it with actionable energy.


Once you UNbelieve the negative programming and pictures/thoughts in your mind, you have the power to rewrite and embed the programs that bring you peace, joy and happiness.


Now is the time to UNbelieve past negative programming.


Now is the time to reprogram your mind and rewrite your script, so you can Redream and live the life you desire.


Now is the time to become the A listing actor that your daydreams deserve.


Now is the time to awaken and unleash the formidable Warrior you were born to be.
